MAGIC UNICORNS AND FAIRY FLUFF

Alright guys, this is my first post of many (because my sister Katherine is going to make me do this for all of eternity!:P) I’m going to show you what projects I’ve finished first, and then I’ll move on to WIPs (Works-In-Progress)

I made this adorable crocheted unicorn about a month ago, and as soon as I finished it, one of my younger sisters got excited because it was ” TWILIGHT SPARKLE!!!!!” lol:)

I got these pillowcases for my birthday from one of my sisters, and while they took FOREVER to embroider on, it was worth it! The pictures add a nice splash of color, too!

These dreamcatcher bracelets are fun to make, and look awesome! All of my younger sisters love them and are dying for me to hurry and make them one.

Moving on to the WIPs :

This is a hand-woven/hand-crocheted bag. The reason it is not finished is because I can not figure out how to use the automatic-buttonhole-maker foot on the sewing machine, and I’m really, REALLY bad at hand-sewn buttonholes!

This is half of a tatted bookmark. I’m planning on tatting white on the outside, and then I might hang a tassel from it or something… I don’t know yet 😉

This is my main (and FAVE) project I’m working on right now! It’s a baby/lap blanket! I’m using bulky yarn so I should have it finished very soon! It is really warm and fuzzy. Kind of like the underside of a cat.

Happy crafting!

What I’m Working On… Sort of…

Alright, guys. Prepare for a majorly long blog post!

Seriously, set aside, like, ten minutes to read this. 😛

Okay… Now that you’re prepared… Here’s what I’m working on…

Project number one is a ridiculously soft throw. It feels like you’re holding a bunny tail against your face. Now that I’ve written it, I realize that’s a weird description, but I’m gonna roll with it anyway.

Project number TWO is a mesh sparkly scarf that doesn’t like me enough to photograph well. Judging from its width, it’s probably going to be huge…LY AWESOME!

Project *whispers* hashtag three is a baby bootie in fingering weight yarn. It’s so cute! Plus, the ribbing on the leg makes it super stretchy, so it’ll fit even the chubbiest of cherubs!

Project death(4, har de har har) is a pair of socks that I’m probably not going to be able to complete before the booth. The fabulous watermelon colorway has nothing to do with McDonald’s, but still I’m lovin’ it. 😉

This bad boy (project number five, for you awesome people who are still bothering to keep up) is the only crocheted project I’m working on right now. “HOW DO I ONLY HAVE ONE CROCHETED PROJECT?” could be my biography. ;P

Below is a closer look at the offset ribbing, since you can’t really tell from the first photo.

And… The one you’ve been waiting for… MY FINAL PROJECT (for now)!!!

I’m knitting a fingering weight shawl out of hand dyed yarn, and I’ve gotta say, this is beautiful. It’s soft; it’s squishy; it’s awesome.

“But, what’s this? Some more yarn?” you say.

Why, yes, dear friend. It is. But this is not just any yarn. Oh, no. THIS YARN is going to be made into something SO AWESOME that I’m not going to tell you what it will be.

You’re going to have to guess. 3:-)
